Vineyard

The largest open area of the property, along Camino Sanguinetti, is approximately 0.75 hectares. It slopes gently down from the entry drive at the southern property line to the fence line at the northern property line.

It may be suitable for a small personal vineyard. It may also be possible to sell grapes to one of the local wine makers.
There are additional smaller areas of the property for additional vines.

The tool sheds and equipment stables are immediately adjacent to the field for convenient maintenance.
There is a 23,000 liter cistern on the north side of the existing house which has an electric pump for irrigation of the vines during dry seasons.

Potential vineyard owners will be interested to know that the Las Piedras is the historic center of wine making in Uruguay. The is Escuela Superior de Vitivinicultura of Uruguay is 1 km to the east along Ruta 48.
